1. School Size
The Roig Academy serves approximately 100 students in Pre-K through the 8th grade on our 2-acres campus located on the outskirts of Pinecrest.
Our student to faculty ratio is 7 to 1. Small classes, ranging in size from one on one tutorial to ten students, allows The Roig Academy teachers to deliver a customized education to each student. We believe that small classes are only one component to a great learning environment. Using evidence-based teaching strategies to help learners with ADHD or other language based learning disabilities, such as Dyslexia, master the inquiry process, and gain critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential elements to a Roig classroom.
3. Student Profile
Pre-School | Ages 2-4
The Roig Academy offers a preschool program for children in PreK 2-4 with a focus on supporting students to acquire important learning skills for the 21st century. By nurturing students in a balanced, hands on, student centered environment, they become risk-takers, inquirers, reflective and open minded learners.
Our curriculum is designed to be delivered in a fully bilingual (Spanish), environment where the student is at the center. Through the use of current best practices in preschool education, including The Handwriting Without Tears Program, we assist students in their learning journey by supporting and strengthening introductory literacy and numeracy skills. Along with incorporating fine motor and gross motor activities, students are engaged in a sensory rich learning environment.
Day School | Grades K-8
